Being born in Brazil was possibly an omen for my interest in coffee. My mother, as a young girl in Brazil, helped with the planting of coffee trees on my great grandpa’s farm. My grandparents on both sides of the family have loved coffee, and upon our return trips to visit Brazil, Grandpa L. loves taking us to Café do Ponto and treating us to one of their shots of espresso with a dollop of whipped cream. Through the years my family loved our dark roasts, until we fell in love with coffee all over again! This time it is much more flavorful and exciting with the roasts typically being mid-range. When we couldn’t find lighter roasts in our area, I started roasting my own coffee over my camp stove, in a cast iron kettle with a wooden spoon. I roasted entirely by my senses and a little oven thermometer. I put out some excellent coffees and began selling to my family and friends. Amidst the smoke and stirring, a dream formed of owning a small roasterie. In 2017 I happily purchased my Artisan 2.5 for my micro roasting business. Special care and attention is taken for every artisan roast that leaves the door. I love coffee! I love pouring latte art, and also painting with my coffee medium. My roasts are typically single origins, and you can celebrate each origin’s unique flavors, roasted to what I call “the sweet spot”!

I attended my first pottery class in 2020, and dedicated myself to spending time on the wheel from then, till now. I love being in the “Pottery”, and now also am a potter by trade!

I specialize in coffee mugs, and along with freshly roasted coffee, it is complete!
